Dua for deceased parents After the grave is leveled, anyone can place their hand on it. They can gently spread their fingers and press them on the grave. They can supplicate for the deceased individual, saying:

When people depart, the closest relative of the deceased must stay behind. They must beg Almighty Allah for mercy for the departed soul. If possible, talk to the dead person and say these words:

Dua for deceased parents
For someone who has died, reciting Surah Al-Qadr has great benefits. When we recite this surah, it acts as a source of blessings and mercy that can reach the deceased soul. It is a way to seek forgiveness for their sins. It also raises their spiritual status in the afterlife.
Surah Al-Qadr holds great rewards for those who recite it with devotion. If we’re troubled by evil whispers, we can recite Surah Al-Qadr three times before bedtime. It will protect us. And if we recite it seven times every day, even after we’ve passed away, our graves will be filled with light.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to recite this surah 100 times in one night. Doing so will forgive our sins and grant us the blessed company of the prophets in Paradise. But there’s more! This surah brings blessings.
They protect us from many problems, like poverty, sickness, and other troubles. That’s why it’s a good idea to recite it seven times every night before bedtime.
During Ramadan, reciting Surah Al-Qadr purifies our hearts. It makes us clean and close to Allah. And just by reciting it once before sleeping, we are kept safe from harm throughout the night.
Sincere Dua for deceased
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, tells us that he heard the Prophet Muhammad, (ﷺ) say:
“When you pray over the dead, then be sincere in your supplication.”
Imam al-Shawkani commented on this saying of the Prophet. He pointed out, “Be sincere in your supplication.” This means the supplication should not be just words. It is essential for the one praying for the deceased to sincerely ask for their well-being. This is true no matter if the deceased was known for their goodness or their faults.
In fact, a person who may have led a life filled with sins needs the prayers of their fellow Muslims. They also need their intercession. This is why they have been presented before them. They seek their prayers and help.
Dua for deceased by Prophet Yunus

The 5 Sadaqah Jariya that helps the soul in Barzakh (afterlife) are:

- Supporting Orphanages or Social Welfare Programs.
What is the powerful Dua for parents?
There are several supplications (duas) that Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and the Ahlul Bayt (PBUH).
Dua for deceased parents from Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ):
